In route to winning the Illinois Senior State Championpship last weekend CWAC set 11 new team records - see below. CWAC swimmers captured 10 individual state titles, 4 relay state titles and had 10 state runner up performances. The Pack opened the last day of competition with a win in the girls 200 medley relay which featured the foursome of Briana Mingmuang, Brooke Whitt Franchesca Sanchez and Isabella Chow. Whitt went on to win her first individual state title later that evening winning the girls 50 breaststroke. The 10&Unders were back in action on Sunday for the second date of the state championship. Ryan Bezsaly had the highest finish on the day for the Pack with a 5th place showing in the boys 50 backstroke and also finished 10th in the 100 IM. Nine CWAC swimmers competed at the IHSA Boys State Championship over the weekend. Biko Hooper-Haviland was state runner up in both the 200 and 500 free along with a 4th place finish in the 400 free relay.
