DCST’s Coach Brian Bickner is quoted in an article in the December issue of Swimming World. The article, on page 10 and 11, is about training for long course meets in a short course pool. Coach Bickner was asked for his input on the topic based on the success of DCST swimmer Caitlynn Moon’s success in long course meets while mostly training in a short course pool.
DCST Claims Barb Wire Classic Title DCST claimed the Barb Wire Classic by 726.5 points over second place Sage (McHenry, IL). DCST scored 3,483 points compared to Sage’s 2,756.5 points. DCST Swimmer Dylan Powers Signs with Wright State University DCST swimmer, Dylan Powers, has made his college commitment by signing with Wright State University. The Raiders are a division I school who compete in the Horizon League. Last year, Wright State finished 5th at their conference championships. DCST Wins at Rock River (Rockford) DCST won its first two meets of the season by beating Rock River (Rockford) and Freeport on November 8 at the Rock River YMCA.
