DCST Finishes 2nd at David Wolf Invite DCST started the New Year with a sluggish performance at the David Wolf Invite. On the day, DCST only had 63 lifetime best times out of 167 individual swims (38% improvement). DCST swimmers achieved 3 District and 1 Area qualifying times for the first time this season. DCST Dominates Barb Wire Classic DCST had a dominating performance in winning the Barb Wire Classic by 1,993.5 points over second place Ottawa. DCST scored 3,612 points compared to Ottawa’s 1,618.5. DCST team towels can be ordered by emailing Kelly Thompson at [email protected] or call her at 815-758-3379 to place an order. The towels are either black or red and will include a name which will be embroidered on it. The towels cost only $27 each and are very large in size. These would make a great Christmas gift. DCST Wins Woodstock Splashtastic DCST won the Woodstock Splashtastic with 5,143.5 points which easily outscored the second place host Woodstock Dolphins by 1,682.5 points. DCST Takes 2nd at Kenosha USS Meet DCST had a very impressive second place finish at Kenosha. DCST finished only behind the host Kenosha team. Not too bad when you consider Kenosha had 36 more swimmers than DCST in the meet. Overall, DCST had the seventh highest total of swimmers entered in the meet out of the 22 teams who participated.
