Step 1 - Register with the Colony Red Hots on this website (hit the Register Here button from the Home Screen, read the important information, and then scroll to the bottom of the page).

Step 2 - Submit Required Paperwork--NEW SWIMMERS ONLY---

For IUSD Students: Aeries Student Profile Page from the IUSD parent portal. Ensure that the swimmer's name, date of birth and school are visible.

For Non- IUSD swimmers: Each family needs to submit a photocopy of TWO different utility bills to verify Irvine residence. Each new swimmer will ALSO need a photocopy of their birth certificate or passport.

  • Scan documents and name files as follows: SWIMMERS NAME for IUSD screenshot, SWIMMER'S NAME.RV for residency verification or SWIMMERSNAME.POA for proof of age.

Step 3 - Sign up for Volunteer Jobs

The success of the Red Hots Swim Team depends on parental participation.  Each family is required to fulfill 6 volunteer assignments at any of the team events.  You can sign up for your jobs once cleared by the registrar. Simply return to the home page, scroll to EVENTS (bottom of page), and click on JOB SIGNUP for the dates you want. 

Not fulfilling volunteer jobs can put your family's spot on the team in jeopardy.

Our team is able to run because of families volunteering their time.

Step 4 - Submit $250 Deposit Check

  • $250 check made payable to Colony Red Hots (this is a $250 deposit that covers all volunteer shifts). We will collect checks on March 9th at the Colony Clubhouse, or you can drop off the check to Ciara's house. Make sure to include swimmer's name on the check. Only one check per family needed.
  • You must submit your deposit check in order to be cleared to sign up for volunteer shifts.

VOLUNTEER JOBS MUST BE SIGNED UP FOR AND $250 DEPOSIT CHECK MUST BE TURNED IN BY APRIL 9TH.  TO SECURE YOUR POSITION ON THE TEAM.

 

Disclaimer: Priority will be given to Colony residents and 2024 swimmers. 

 

Uniforms

Swimsuits are the uniform for all meets including home and away meets, pentathlon, and champs. A 2024 Colony Red Hots (CRH) Team suit is required. Swimmers may not wear any other team's (club, high school, college, etc) apparel on deck, including swim cap, this is a means for disqualification. The only exception is parkas.

 

This league is for any swimmer ages 5-18 that attends an Irvine school or lives in the City of Irvine.

While we are planning a regular swim season, we ask for patience if changes are made. We are guided by ISL and the City of Irvine to keep our swimmers and families safe.

Refund Policy: The Colony registration fee is 100% refundable until May 17th. The ISL fee is non-refundable.
