Head Coach Alex Nieto

North Irvine is excited to announce Coach Alex Nieto as North Irvine Knight's 2024 Head Coach. Coach Alex brings 20 years of in pool and on deck experience to Orange County swimmers. He currently coaches NOVA's Senior Gold and Senior Silver swimmers; Alex is also the Head Coach of the Girls and Boys swim team at Northwood High School.  When Alex is not on a pool deck mentoring young minds and helping create athletes, he likes to hike and spend time in the outdoors adventuring with his wife and two young children. He has plans to travel the world on an extended trip. He believes traveling with a backpack is the way to go. He can't wait to renew his passport and fill it with stamps from around the world.
