Kai-Wen Minnich, who has been a member of the Lawrence Swim Team for more than a decade, has signed to swim with DePauw University starting this Fall. While at DePauw, he will study Finance. For the swim team, he will focus on breaststroke, but is open to doing other events as well. Congrats to Kai-Wen! We can't wait to cheer you on!
The Lawrence Swim Team started the 2025 Long Course Season with a bang, hosting the first club swim meet at the brand new Lawrence Central Natatorium! Eight teams joined the fun and many personal bests were achieved by all. The next LST event will be May 16-18, also at Lawrence Central

Lawrence Swim Team REGISTRATION IS NOW LIVE!! Register today at https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/islst/page/home and join one of the best swim teams in Central Indiana! Open evaluations will be held on Thursday, August 8th from 7:15 - 8:15 p.m. and Saturday, August 10th from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Lawrence North Pool. Evaluations are open to swimmers from ages 6-18 and will take approximately 10 minutes.

LST welcomed 3-time Olympian and Swimming Hall of Famer Rowdy Gaines to the Lawrence North Natatorium on May 14th to host a clinic and discuss water safety for International Water Safety Day. Through our partnership with Indiana Sports Corp. and USA Swimming, LST was one of only four clubs across the country selected to participate in this exciting event.
April 26-28 LST hosted the first long course meet of the season with three days of fast times and tons of new pool records for the long course season (yes--it's the first ever long course event at this pool, but the records still count!). The Lawrence Swim Team was chosen as one of 124 youth programs from the USA Swimming Foundation’s nationwide network of swim lesson providers to receive grant money in 2024. The grant award will go toward the organization’s Learn to Swim Program in an effort to provide free or reduced-cost swim lessons to students in the Lawrence and Indianapolis communities.
