Swim families, a few updates from the parent board. There is a lot going on at Central Pool! Swim team families PLEASE see bottom for fall fundraiser!!! NO LESSONS or LAP swim September 21st. Limited practice groups (HS invite all day meet) College coach talk was AMAZING! We will try to get them back in the future. Families loved hearing about emailing coaches, college swim season, team travel, what coaches like to hear from recruits, etc. PAWW will be sending thank yous to the coaches! Registration is open! Front overhang: Several options are being investigated and quotes are coming in. The front entrance will either be repaired or replaced, the Park District has been great once again. More to come! Lessons are restarting September 7th!!!! PAWW will host open swim team evaluations for new interested members during these dates/times: Monday August 28th - 5:15-7:15PM Tuesday August 29th - 5:15-7:15PM Thursday August 30th - 5:15-7:15PM Saturday September 2nd - 11AM-2PM All evaluations will take place at Central Park Pool, 415 Richmond Ave. in Peoria. During the summer months (June/July) PAWW will be offering 4 x two-week sessions Monday through Thursday. Those will begin June 5th and run through July 28th. Hours will be from noon to 3:00. Each session is 2 weeks and you may enter more than 1 session. Perpetual lessons are offered on Saturdays from 1:00-4:00 during the summer as well. Those will begin Saturday, June 10th and run through July 29th PAWW also offers private (1-1) and semi-private (1-2 instructor/participant ratio) lessons.
