ELITE

The high performance training group of Legacy Aquatics. 

Entrance Criteria: Swimmers must qualify for a Sectionals level meet in 1 event or New England Seniors in at least 2 events.

Commitment: Training and competing year-round, for both short course and long course seasons. Strive towards perfect practice attendance, maintaining at least 85%. Swimmers in Elite participate in all scheduled swim meets throughout the year, unless directed otherwise by coach.

SENIOR 2
Entrance Criteria: Swimmers ages 13 & Over who have qualified for the NE Age Group Championships in their respective age groups. 

Commitment: Training and competing year-round, for both short course and long course seasons. Strive to attend 6 practices per week and participate in all relevant scheduled swim meets throughout the year.

SENIOR 1
Entrance Criteria: Swimmers ages 11-12 who have qualified for NE Age Group Championships. Swimmers 13 & Over who have qualified for NE Silver Championships and are striving to make NE Age Group qualifying times. 

Commitment: Training and competing year-round, for both short course and long course seasons. Strive to attend 6 practices per week and participate in all relevant scheduled swim meets throughout the year.

JUNIOR 2
Entrance Criteria: Swimmers ages 10 & Under who have qualified for the NE 10 & Under Championships. Swimmers ages 11-12 who have qualified for NE Silver Championships and are striving to make NE Age Group qualifying times. Swimmers ages 13 & Over who do not yet qualify for NE Silver Championships. 

Commitment: Training and competing year-round, for both short course and long course seasons. Strive to attend 5 practices per week and participate in the majority of all scheduled swim meets throughout the year.

JUNIOR 1
Entrance Criteria: Swimmers know and can swim the legal technique of all 4 strokes and are striving to be more competitive and qualify for their first New England Championship meet.

Commitment: Strive to attend 5 practices per week and participate in at least 3 swim meets per season.

LEGACY LITTLES 

Entrance Criteria: The entry-level, development group of Legacy Aquatics. Swimmers have had some type of formal swim instruction previously (swim lesson program, rec team, etc.). Swimmers in LL must be able to complete 25 yards of Freestyle and Backstroke and know the overall concept of legal Breaststroke and Butterfly.

Commitment: Strive to attend 4 practices per week and participate in at least 3 swim meets per season.

NOTE: Entrance Criteria for each group is the minimum requirement. Additional factors for group placement considered by the coaches include the swimmer's conduct/behavior, work ethic, stroke technique, practice attendance and meet participation. More details on group placement can be found during the registration process in the team handbook.
