SAL SEASON:  Our SWIM TEAM competes in the Suburban Aquatic League.  We have four swim practice groups, from Developmental Group 1 (for swimmers new to competition) through Group 4 (for advanced swimmers who have demonstrated mastery of the key elements of the sport and dedication to the team); see our Practice Group descriptions, under the Programs tab on the website.

Swim practices begin the week of September 18 and run through the SAL championships at the end of January.  Swim meets are held on Saturdays, beginning in November.  The swim meet days are already posted here.

Please note: all Marlins team members are expected to attend SAL meets.

NEW swimmers should attend one of our evaluation nights -- 9/11/2023 5:30-6:30 for the 2023-2024 Season, at the Upper Merion High School.  If you miss our evaluation night and still wish to join the team, please email us.

The SAL Swim season consists of 6 duel meets and two championship meets.  League championships are based on qualification times, with the best swimmers across the league competing against each other.  

Division Championships are for everyone else who does not qualify for League Championships.  This is the MAJORITY of the swimmers in the league, and offers a great chance for the swimmers to compete against other swimmers of equal ability.
