UMLY's Riley Bolser finished 3rd in the 400m Freestyle Relay at the USA Paralympic Nationals in Orlando, Florida! With two more days to go of competition, we are excited to see what she does next!
Senior Groups 1 & 2 brought in the holidays today with a party packed with food, gingerbread houses, and a gift exchange! Special thanks to Katie Galef for organizing this fun event. Also thank you to the following parents who set up, helped run the party, and cleaned up: Kerry Dolan; Megan Fox; Marisa Kogan; Mary Sperling; Colleen Padilla; and Francy Watanabe. Finally, thank you to Coach Owen for providing the music and taking on a big task - judging the gingerbread house competition!
Although they represented different teams at the Ches-Mont League's high school taper meet, our UMLY swimmers found and supported each other. Great job by our swimmers. Go UMLY!
UMLY had a successful mid-season meet in Richmond, VA. Not only did our swimmers have countless best times, our team scored the most points (women, men, and combined) and had three high point award winners. Special congratulations to the following swimmers: Andy Wen: 9-10 year old boys winner (221 points) Devyn Sargent: 15 & Over girls winner (137 points) Davis Woerner: 15 & Over boys winner (115 points) Many thanks to our amazing coaches for their endless hours preparing our swimmers and on deck at the meet.
