Head Swim Coach: Ronson Webster

Ronson began coaching in 2013. He has coached High School, USA Club Swimming, Master’s Swim, and Summer Swim Teams in Michigan.  He helped lead Plymouth High School to undefeated seasons, Division Championships and new team records.

In USA Swimming, he developed State Champions, Zone champions, Sectional Champions, National Finalists, Olympic Trial qualifier and multiple number one ranked swimmers in the country for their age groups.  His swimmers broke State records, Zone Meet records, and multiple pool records including a Oakland University.

In High School swimming, he developed State Champions, All American swimmers, broken pool records for West Bloomfield on the girls, boys and middle school team, broken multiple pool records, County Meet records, MISCA records and State records.  He believes swimming should be a balance of hard work and fun.  He specializes in swim technique and drives that into the swimmers.  He believes that quality over quantity in training is what wins races.  While coaching swimming is the literal description in the title, he believes it is so much more than that.  Ronson teaches team members valuable life skills such as self confidence, goal setting, time management, leadership, team building and patience, all of which can be used outside of swimming in their lives.
