Beginner 2

The Beginner Plus class takes the skills learned from Beginner classes to a more advanced skills set. As with every sport, skills get harder and take longer to learn.This class will require greater focus, patience and determination.

Class Structure: Gymnasts will be spend the first 10 mins stretching and have 3 rotation changes. Event Rotations will include a combination of the following: Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, that will change each week.

We have this class divided into Beginner Plus 1 and 2.
Beginner Plus 1 will Focus on:
Floor – Handstand to bridge, bridge kickover, round offs
Bars – Glide swings, squat on, stationary pullover
Beam – Cartwheels on low beam, Handstand on low beam
Vault - Progressions
 
Beginner Plus 2 will Focus on:
Floor – Back walkovers, round offs with rebounds
Bars – Tap swings, kip concept with spot
Beam – Carwheels and handstands on high beam
Vault - HS flatbacks and pop ups
 
(Gymnasts should have coaches approval before moving into Beg Plus 2 class!)
