PRIVATE LESSON INFORMATION

We offer year round private (one swimmer) and semi-private (2 swimmers) lessons to anyone ages 3+ that are potty trained and levels 1-6. All private lessons are scheduled on an individual basis, therefore there are no limits to how many or few of lessons you can schedule.

All lessons are instructor led, therefore no parents will need to be in the water with the swimmer. Parents can view the lesson from outside the glass of the pool at the Rec Center and at a friendly distance when we have lessons outdoors.

  • Private Lessons (one swimmer) - $30 per lesson
     
  • Semi-Private Lessons (two swimmers) - $50 per lesson
    * both swimmers skill levels MUST be similar *

Dates, times and registration information below

  • Any rescheduling of lessons needs to be arranged at least 4 days in advance. No make-up lessons will be offered due to scheduling errors or failure to communicate, other commitments, etc
  • All registrants MUST enter/exit through Door #4 of the Rec Center, which is located on the SE corner of the building and off the main parking lot - see the map
  • Limited space available, once spots are full we do not offer a waitlist
  • CANCELLATIONS: The only way we will communicate ANY cancellation is through the Rainout Line. No emails will be sent. Be sure to download the app on your phone, visit the website or call the phone number for all updates. 
    BE SURE TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS VIA TEXT OR EMAIL. Any notifications will also be posted to our Facebook page (Rochester Swim Club - Swim Lessons)
    * Pool accidents occur occassionally as we work with young children, also weather issues arise.

Registration is Closed, as we are full! We will update here and on our Facebook page if we have any lessons that become available.

  • No lessons on October 22, 23; November 26, 27; December 3, 4
  • ​Due to an event taking place at the Rec Center on October 29 - NO LOCKER ROOMS will be available on these dates!

TO REGISTER

  1. Determine what level of swimmer you or your child is: RSC Swim Levels
     
  2. Please review when lessons are offered - dates/times prior to submitting your request form!!  Complete the appropriate REGISTRATION FORM for the lessons you wish to reserve (Saturday & Sunday ONLY) - be certain to include the specific dates and times you are requesting
     
  3. Once a schedule has been coordinated, You will receive a confirmation email that will include more information, including lesson details and a review of your swimmers schedule.
     
  4. You will receive a electronic invoice via email where you can complete your payment information. A non-refundable deposit of one lesson is due within 48 hours of confirming your schedule. Failure to pay this non-refundable deposit will result in cancellation of the reserved lessons.  Once the confirmation email with your lesson details has been sent, you are responsible for the payment for that total number of lessons committed to. 
     
  5. When your non-refundable deposit has been received, you will receive another electronic invoice via email with your remaining balance owed.
