STAR uses the Remind App. to send out notices to swimmers and parents via text.
You do not have to down load the app., you just have to do the following to get notices for each of the following Groups:
Stroker: Send to 81010. In the subject box put in - @strokersf
Age Group: Send to 81010. In the subject box put in - @agegroupfw
Junior Group: Send to 81010, In the subject box put in - @a3b8ce
Senior Group: Send to 81010. In the subject box put in - @starcoache
Masters Group: Send to 81010. In the subject box put in - @starcoa
If you have done everything correctly, you will get a text back indicating you have joined the particular Group.
This is the best system for STAR to send out pool changes and meet changes, plus reminders for swimmers.
