STAR is a Guest at Every Pool

STAR Swim has the unique opportunity to allow swimmers practice and training time in a variety of pools. We want to be sure that swimmers and families know that while the pool might seem like “home” for your swimmer – we are Guests at each Pool.

The Coaching Staff has worked hard for many years, even decades, to create a great relationship with the pools that STAR uses. No pool is required to rent pool time to STAR, but they do because we are considerate guests.

 

Here are some friendly reminders to help you out:

  • Treat every facility like it is your home. They are STAR's home.
  • If there is a problem, please contact the STAR office and let the STAR Staff deal with the facility people directly. 651-704-0024 [email protected]
  • Do not leave your car parked in a permit-only or no parking zone. You may unload or drop-off swimmers there but you cannot park there.
  • Do not leave anything in the locker room during practice. STAR does not control those areas during workout.
  • If your swimmers must be dropped off early, please make sure they have a book or homework to do. Swimmers must stay in the pool area.
  • The buildings STAR uses are not a playground.
  • Parents are always welcome to watch workout. In fact – we encourage you to come support your swimmers and get to know each other and the coaches by watching practices once in a while.

 

STAR will continue to be allowed access to these pools as long as we respect and care for them.

Remember, while the pool may feel familiar to your swimmer, we are guests at each location.
