Parents on Deck during Practices

STAR Swim Team loves having parents support their children during practice. ❤️❤️❤️

You're welcome to come and watch, but please remember to stay off the pool deck! It is important to remember that USA Swimming insurance doesn't cover accidents if someone who isn't insured is on the deck.

For everyone's safety and peace of mind, please:

  • Sit in the stands at Hamline, Parkview, St Kate’s or Como HS pools
  • Stay behind the benches at Oxford
  • Sit in the cabanas at Highland

 

Lastly, please don't talk to the coaches or swimmers during practice. If you have questions, we ask that you email or arrange a meeting with the coach before or after practice.
