Mission:  Metropolitan Swimming shall promote, develop and improve competitive swimming through education, support, and opportunities for participation, to a diverse swimming community.

Vision:  To inspire and provide quality opportunities for our members to achieve excellence in the sport of competitive swimming.

Meet Referees must complete their OTS Meet Details within the required 2-week period per Metro P&P and submit the reports to the Meet Director for inclusion in the post-meet reporting to Metro.

Meet Session Timelines, detailing the start time of each event within the session, must be submitted to the AO at the end of the session, along with the referee and starter heat sheets. These will also be part of the post-meet report. The LSC has experienced a few meets that have run over the 4-hour meet period, and this timeline will help Meet Directors explain overages.

Steps to Complete Meet Reporting:

  1. Go to USA Swimming, navigate to the Officials Tab, and select "My OTS Meets."
  2. Select the meet for which you are the Meet Referee, and click the red "Officials Tracking" button.
  3. Use the blue "Add Official" button to add each official to the meet report.
  4. After adding each official, enter the sessions and specific positions that each official worked during the meet. For officials who apprenticed during a session, move the selector button to "YES" to mark their apprentice status prior to entering their sessions .
  5. Once all officials and session details have been entered, click the red "Reporting" button. This will display links to the OTS Meet Participation Certifications and OTS Meet Details reports. Click each blue hyperlink to view, print, and save the reports as PDFs
  6. Email both reports to the Meet Director for inclusion in the post-meet reporting.
