How can I get more involved?
Swimming runs on snacks mostly..... and parent volunteers!
Do you know nothing about swimming, great! Some volunteer positions are as simple as clicking a button (seriously!), other positions do require some training. Want to figure out where you can fit in? Come to a PAC meeting (the First Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm at the YMCA), or reach out via email and we can offer some insight!
No prior training required volunteer opportunities - Timing at swim meets and Set up & tear down at home meets.
Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) - MYST parents working together to support our MYST swimmers and coaches. PAC approves purchases for team training equipment, coaches travel, plans events like team breakfasts, the annual banquet, and the annual fundraiser, and other fun things that support the team and help the MYST spirit stay strong!
Officials Training - Swim meets cannot happen without the many volunteer parent officials from around the state! Training is available and actually kinda fun! Reach out to get more info.
