KIRBY BEIERLE Head Coach

Kirby has been part of the MYST coaching staff for nearly two decades, starting as an Assistant Coach before stepping into the Head Coach role. A lifelong swimmer, she began at age six and went on to compete for Moorhead State University. Her coaching honors include multiple Montana Swimming Coach of the Year awards and National YMCA Coach of the Year. She has also led the Montana Zones team and served as Montana Swimming’s Coach Representative.

Kirby loves creating a positive, team-focused environment where swimmers can grow in skill, confidence, and character. She values hard work, sportsmanship, and having fun along the way.

Kirby and her husband, Dustin, have two children—Mylo, a current MYST swimmer, and Sully—who share in the MYST family spirit.

BRADY BAUGHMAN Assistant Coach

Coach Brady grew up swimming for MYST and served as team captain during his senior year of high school in 2012. He went on to study at the University of Montana, spending a semester abroad in Europe before graduating in 2016 with a degree in K–12 French Education.

Brady began his coaching career in 2017 with MCPS High School Swimming for eight years. During that time, he was named Montana High School Swim Coach of the Year multiple times and led several Missoula teams to championship seasons. He has also coached for the Montana Swimming Zones team multiple years, including serving as Age Group Head Coach in 2025.

Now a French teacher at Hellgate High School, Brady continues to share his passion for swimming as a MYST coach, where he enjoys helping athletes grow in skill, confidence, and love for the sport.

Coach Rory swam for MYST from age 7-17, with one year as a team captain and two years as a Junior Assistant Coach. Rory went to college at the University of Montana for degrees in Music Performance on french horn, K-12 Music Education and a certificate in Entertainment Management, graduating in 2021. Throughout her time studying at UM, Rory coached for MYST (with a year off in 2020), working primarily with the Middles and Littles. Now, Rory teaches MCPS Elementary Band Director and has been coaching over a decade for MYST. Rory served as Assistant Coach for the Montana Zones Age Group All-Star team in 2025.
