Coach K will be offering a practice Monday morning at 7am for contracts. Certainly not required on the holiday! The rest of the week, Tuesday through Thursday, we are back to our normal schedule from last year with blue and bronze at 5pm, silver/gold/elite at 6:15 and black starting at 6:30. Fall sign ups went well and your coaches are looking forward to an exciting launch for the new season!
The ballots are in and I am pleased to announce the new members of our board for 2014-2105 are Doyle Holt, Kayla Ransdell, Jeff Schultz, and Carol Watts. They will serve under the leadership of Shannon Smith, President, which term begins September 1, 2014. The returning board members with one more year of service are Laura Perryman and Randy Miller. Join me in congratulating them. Our Long Course team leaves for Fort Smith this Thursday. Parents will be providing our swimmers with breakfast after morning practice on July 24th....
This week all contract swimmers will only have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at Schiff, with one morning practice at WCHS Thursday at 7. We will have the team breakfast at around 8:30 Thursday morning, or as soon as we are finished with practice. With only one practice each day we will be keeping the intensity up so come to practice with your A game ready!
All, Practice at Schifferdecker will be canceled tonight. It is suppose to rain all evening and it is cold so the coaches feel it is best to take the night off. There is morning practice tomorrow morning, so be sure to come! Coach Kurt
I finally got the home meet results to load to the team website so all best times should be updated. When you go into the system to commit to the meet and enter your events, please let me know if any of your swimmer's best times are missing. I checked on a few swimmers but there always seem to be a few that slip through. If you could get your events picked today it would really help. Thank you. To make sure championship entries are accurate: please UN-ENTER and DE-COMMIT to champs and then RE-ENTER after we load our home meet results early Monday morning. The entry deadline for the RAC Last Chance meet and our Championship meet are both on the Monday immediately after our home meet...
