Caroline Theil set a new Central Zone record in the 200IM at the Zone meet in Columbus, Indiana, August 4th - 5th. Theil swam a 2:26.90. Way to go, Caroline!
MW Swimming D1 Championships July 27th - 29th - 33 Gnst swimmers competed in the 2012 long course championships. Over 100 personal best times were achieved, 8 Midwestern Records were broken, and 17 swimmers scoring in the top ten high point scorers for all age groups combined (Gnst had the top 4 high point winners for the girls' 9-10 age group!!!). Congrats to all who participated!
6 swimmers competed July 18th - 21st at the 2012 Speedo Region VIII Championships in Columbia, Missouri.
MW Qualifier Meet Changes Due to water temperature Friday evening has been canceled. Saturday and Sunday AM warm ups have changed to 7:00-7:30, the meet will run time finals only. The meet will run until maximum water temperatures is reached. The 10u afternoon sessions will run only if the morning events have been completed, if the morning session is canceled due to water temperature, the 10 u session will not be swun.
