GCY January Update
The GCY Makos made a great showing at this weekend’s meet, thanks to everyone for your support! Parents, a special thanks, we were often the first and most organized team there for warm-ups, we really appreciate your efforts in bringing the kids there on those early mornings and late afternoons!
Here are some of our highlights from this meet and upcoming meets, including updates on championship meets and qualifiers - we hope this information will be helpful in determining events for our GCY Winter Invitational - deadline to register is today! (January 23rd)
10 Swimmers were a part of new team records
In a team that has existed since 1969, it is a rare swim meet when a team record is broken...it's even more rare when 10 swimmers had a part in multiple team records in a single swim meet!

GCY Winter Invitational
Please register for our next home meet! The GCY Winter Invitational is a great chance to do the following:
- Participate and become eligible for GYSSA Champs in March!
- Get first time cut (Y-Regionals, 14&Under Champs, Senior Champs, Y-Nationals)
- Add additional cuts to a champs meet you have qualified for already!
- Volunteer and participate - this is GCY's largest fundraiser!
