No "Normal" practices at our GAC Site Wednesday-Friday Afternoons this week!
Due to the Garth Brooks concert and anticipated traffic problems, the GAC wants ALL swimmers checked in by 5:00pm. We have made the Va Tech Champ Camp correspond with this event on Wednesday and Thursday because we do not get access to the pool until 6:30pm.
- Wednesday and Thursday, November 19-20, CHAMP CAMP is 5:00pm-8:00pm: All Va Tech entered swimmers please attend these practices - if you are NOT entered in the Va Tech meet, please do not attend, we have 75 swimmers entered and it will be tight. CLICK HERE FOR VA TECH CHAMP CAMP DETAILS
- Friday, November 21st, National Team Meet with STAR: 2 events only, all swimmers should be there at warm-ups at 4:30pm - GAC wants EVERYONE at the meet by 4:30pm because of the extra crowd for the Friday Night Garth Brooks Concert.
- ALL SWIMMERS THAT NORMALLY PRACTICE AT THE GAC THAT ARE NOT ENTERED IN THE VA TECH MEET, PLEASE ATTEND PRACTICES AT BRYAN YMCA, FROM 6:00PM-7:30PM, ALL LEVELS, SO THAT IT MIRRORS YOUR NORMAL TIMES.
If you DID NOT enter the Va Tech meet and want to change your mind, please email Coach Brad IMMEDIATELY, the longer you wait the less likely he will be able to successfully enter your swimmer!
