GCY Championship Meet Rosters Posted – Please register now!
Swimmers are encouraged to complete meet sign-ups for ALL end of season meets NOW – these are meets that will not be possible for you to attend if you miss the deadline. We encourage ALL swimmers ESPECIALLY younger swimmers (9-10’s, 8&unders) to attend GYSSA League Champs, and all qualified swimmers to attend in the appropriate championship meets (details online)!
Here’s a list – all have been updated online with rosters and ability to pick/choose events, click the link to be taken directly to the meet event page:
- NC Senior Champs: 29 qualifiers, held at TAC (if anyone else qualified at HS regionals this weekend please let Coach Brad know!)
- NC 14&Under Champs (JO’s): 32 individual event qualifiers, 20 relay only swimmers – 52 total qualifiers, held at GAC
- GYSSA League Champs: All GCY swimmers eligible, several need this meet to get more USRY events, complete IMX events, and to get eligible for USRY Champs, held at RAC-Y in Salisbury, NC – Important, event file had errors, had to re-load, everyone who previously entered will need to re-pick events (file did not correspond with meet information).
- Senior Sectionals: 13 Qualifiers, held at GAC
- USRY Championships: 106 qualifiers (new team record), held at Goldsboro YMCA in Goldsboro, NC – Required to complete eligibility for YMCA Nationals!
- Age Group Sectionals: 22 qualified, held in Atlanta, Ga
- YMCA Nationals: 10 qualified, held at the GAC
Veteran GCY Parents – help us rally the troops to get great attendance at these meets again as we’ve had in year’s past!
