Hello All,
Writing with sad news...
Trevor Hawkins, who was a GCY swimmer and coach, and an employee with us at Bryan YMCA from 2008 - 2011, passed away suddenly this past Friday.
Trevor was also a lifeguard, swim instructor, and served a season as Head Coach of the Bryan YMCA Bears summer swim team.
He was also a great guy.
His mother, Terri still swims with the GCY Masters swim team, and his sister Rachel just finished her final season with GCY in 2011; she is a freshman at NC State.

The funeral is scheduled for 2:00pm on Wednesday here in Greensboro, if anyone wishes to attend. I know several GCY swimmers, families, and coaches plan to attend.
