GCY Men's 400-FREE Relay made finals and swim's TONIGHT!

Congrats to Jake Ennis, Gil Cruz, Alex Strasser, and Andre Richardson AGAIN who IN THAT ORDER all did best times AGAIN to combine for the FASTEST 400-Yard FREESTYLE Relay in GCY team history AGAIN!  Splits were a blistering 47.65-47.86-48.19-46.19!  Andre's last 100 free split was the fastest relay split in known GCY history!  ALL boys swam faster than any of their individual 100-free swims ever!  On paper, this team should NOT be in finals, but that's why they swim the race!

The relay qualified 16th and will be in the LAST HEAT of the meet tonight, surrounded by some of the top teams in the country - YOU PLENTY OF TIME TO GET THERE even with my late notice!

Thanks for all of you that came out to support the relay and Heather the night before - WE HAVE 5 YMCA ALL-AMERICANS NOW: Alex Strasser, Andre Richardson, Gil Cruz, Jake Ennis, and Heather Sigmon!

GCY's Laurel Kiselis is VERY CLOSE and will be the first alternate in the women's 100 freestyle tonight, we are hoping she'll get to swim!

If you can drive over, we'd love to get all the GCY support we can gather for this relay race and possible 100 Freestyle race tonight, the more crowd support and noise we can make when they are competing, the faster we know they'll go!
 
The devotion and national anthem starts at 5:10, and if you've never seen or heard the national version of this we encourage you to get at the GAC before then (5:00pm) to get your seats. Cost is $3/$7 (12&under/adult).
