13 GCY Makos Get NC's Top Honors

Several of the swimmers and coaches below may not be at GCY's Spring Fling on Saturday...if you don't see them, it's because they will be representing the state of North Carolina at Select Camp in Charlotte, NC OR the NC vs. SC All-Star Meet in Greensville, SC!

NC Select Camp: This is an annual camp NC puts on for the top 5 swimmers in each event at NC 14&Under State Championships (where GCY finished 9th).  The top 14&Under coaches are also selected, here's who made it for GCY:

• Swimmers: Caroline Cox, Noah Rock, Omega Pinnix, McKenzie Campbell, and Davis Hoover
• Coach: Connor Griffin 

NC vs. SC All-Star Meet: This is the first ever "Carolina Crown", featuring the top 2 ranked swimmers in each event in single age years from NC from 15-18; they were invited to compete in a dual meet with SC's top selections!  The top 15&Over coaches were also invited, here's who got an invitation this year from GCY (not all were able to compete due to various conflicts):

• Swimmers: Heather Sigmon, Laurel Kiselis, Alex Kreager, Andre Richardson, Alex Strasser, and Jake Ennis 
• Coach: Brad Herndon
