September Events Update!

GCY has a lot happening in the next 2 weeks, here are 2 VERY COOL events we'd like your swimmers to do, and deadlines are approaching:

GCY's BACK-TO-SCHOOL MEET, Friday/Saturday, September 18th & 19th: Open to all COMPETITIVE swimmers, ALL levels AG1, AG2, Senior Prep, Senior, Flex, National, and National Prep are encouraged to attend!  Over 100 swimmers already signed up, DEADLINE is tonight at midnight!  Register and learn more by visiting our meet event page; if you have trouble registering please email us at [email protected].  This meet will feature a Friday night distance evening (optional, recommended for SP&up), and a Saturday sprint/IM type session,  parents are encouraged to volunteer!  CLICK HERE FOR THE MEET EVENT PAGE!

CAMP WEAVER, Sunday September 20th: Open to all GCY swimmers, including seasonal! EASY registration ALLOWS you to CLICK YES or NO online, and bring form in later to practice OR at check-in the very day of the event!  Delayed billing through the 25th is also available.  This one day only camp will feature the ropes course, archery, arts and crafts, dryland activities, YOGA, and THE LAKE, including the inflatables!  We will have a team meal afterwards where we will distribute the annual T-shirt and the complimentary swim cap. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION ON CAMP WEAVER 2015!

Finally, several on GCY are competing this weekend!  GOOD LUCK to all those competing in the Carolina Cup Open Water Meet down near Pinehurst this weekend, GCY has 25 strong swimmers ready to roll!
