3 Big Highlights this Week:
- All practices normal except NO Flex Friday practice at GAC on Friday evening (GAC closed for swim meet).
- Deadline for the GCY Spooktacular Meet is Tuesday, midnight (October 20) - Coaches Deal: If we meet our goal and get 150 or more swimmers to sign-up to compete at our home meet, coaches will be dressed up in Halloween costumes on Saturday!!! This will be a great event, with what should be excellent competition and 3 hour sessions (versuses the typical 4). Your best way to support the GCY Makos and your swimmers is to register them to compete! CLICK HERE FOR THE MEET EVENT PAGE - Please remember to also click DECLINE if you are not going to attend so we will know for sure!
- Finally - Great job at the swim meet this weekend Makos! First full 3-day meet with multiple swims and relays, and swimmers did fantastic. A few of us ran out of gas on Sunday but that will just make us more prepared for the next one!
