BONUS Dryland Saturday - HANGING ROCK!
RSVP today for a BONUS Dryland Saturday at HANGING ROCK!
DATE: THIS Saturday, October 24th - 10:30AM/11:00AM
RELEASED FROM POOL AT 8:45am, have a BIG breakfast "ON THE GO" on way to Hanging Rock (on your own), then meet between 10:30am-11:00am (start at 11am sharpe)!
Park at the top of Hanging Rock State Park:
- ADDRESS: 1790 Hanging Rock Park Rd, Danbury, NC 27016
Here's the schedule:
- 7:00AM-8:45 AM - National, Senior Group, and National Prep swim practice at Bryan YMCA from 7am-8:45am
- 10:30AM - Meet and Greet (bring a water bottle AND a snack!)
- 10:35AM - NO LATER THAN 11:00AM - Leave on the PICTURE SCAVENGER HUNT:
- Form your small groups of about 3-4 - PICK a leader and PICK a photographer, each group have at least 3, no limits on how many groups who may want to travel together!
- Visit these areas, please go in this order so we will cross paths frequently:
- HANGING ROCK TRAIL
- MOORE'S WALL LOOP TRAIL (COUNTER CLOCKWISE ONLY TO AND FRO TO SAVE TIME!)
- HIDDEN FALLS TRAIL
- 2:30PM - MEET FOR CHOCOLATE MILK BACK AT START OF HIDDEN FALLS TRAIL AT EDGE OF PARKING LOT!
- EACH GROUP: You will submit your BEST 10 pictures from the DAY to [email protected]
- 3:00PM - DONE, leaving the mountain, no organized meal but feel free to meet at your local favorites on the way back to Greensboro (Hillbilly Hideaway is a good choice I hear!)
