Hello! and Update

Hello CVSC Icebreakers and Families! 

We miss you and have been thinking of you during this time! 

Although October is a couple of months away, we wanted to share with you some conversations we have been having about the upcoming season. 

Like with many activities, we do not know what the future will hold. We are basing our conversations on the information we have from the state, New England Swimming, and USA Swimming. We understand that at any moment new information may change some of the conversations we are having and we think it is important to update you with where we are at in this moment.

At this time, we are looking into possibilities for what it might look like to swim during the fall and winter season. We have begun investigating alternative pool options as college and university protocols may not allow for additional people on campus in their opening this year. 

Based on safety protocols that will need to be implemented, we have also reached out to our communities in hopes of finding other folks who would be interested in coaching, officiating, and volunteering for our organization. 

At this time, we are also moving forward with investigating options for what it might mean to hold our annual Pentathlon Meet while acknowledging that it may look different and possibly not come to fruition for this year. 

With missing you, we are looking at ways that we might come together in August to swim and will keep you posted if the plans work out.

Lastly, we will be sending a survey to everyone in August to gather some information from you to help us continue to plan for the upcoming season.
