Update on Fall 2020 Swim Season
Dear Icebreakers,
As a result of the latest COVID-19 guidelines from the Governor's office, the swim team is on pause.
While we are sad we can not gather, we understand the importance of following these guidelines and keeping our community safe.
To open our program this fall, we used the recreational sport's guidelines for safe operations and we will look forward to the news and instructions that we can do so again. #IcebreakersAdapt
In light of these events, our Board has decided to delay the announced November 22nd meeting anticipating changes and adjustments from the State over the next few weeks. We will meet instead on Sunday, December 3rd at 4:30 PM via Zoom.
We are asking for your help and feedback to improve on our Covid-19 Policies and Procedures Handbook. The more voices and perspectives on the board the better our program will become. We have created this shared document and ask that you make suggestions to our current handbook, provide us with feedback, and help us move forward in this ever-changing climate.
For all those who registered for Session 2, we will be refunding the full amount. Please allow a few days this week for that to process.
We appreciate your support and enthusiasm for our program. We look forward to the time when we can swim again!
