| JOIN THE FUN! OLYMPIC TRIALS TRIVIA STARTS TOMORROW Good morning everyone! It is Fri-YAY! Check out what is happening in the LSC over the next two weeks around Olympic Trials! TRIVIA - Starts Saturday 6/8 Trivia starts TOMORROW! Each morning for one week, a jotform link will be released on the NE website under the Olympic Trials drop-down menu. Jotform link will be taken down each night by 12 AM and will not be available the following day.
- Swimmer (or coach) name, team name, and email will be required in each day’s form so we know who to contact for prizes.
- There will be 5 questions each day, each correct answer is worth ONE point for a total score of 35.
- Perfect scores of 35 points will be put into the 1st tier prize pool. (Final winners will be drawn from a swim cap)
- People who score 20 points or more will be put into the 2nd tier prize pool. This includes all the 35 point scorers whose name did not get drawn for 1st prize. (Final winners will be drawn from a swim cap)
- If no one scores a perfect 35, the top 5 scorers will receive the towel and bag and the rest of the names down to 20 points will be put into a swim cap to be drawn.
- In the event of ties, names will be drawn from a swim cap.
- FIRST TIER PRIZE - A New England Swimming towel and swim equipment bag (mesh bag) for 5 winners
- SECOND TIER PRIZE - A New England swag bag of little goodies for 5 winners (up to 10 if supplies allow)
NO CHEATING - We are doing this on the honor system and we hope you will do your best to get these trivia questions correct without the help of the internet. These quizzes are limited to only 10 minutes then will lock you out! ONLY ONE FORM WILL BE ACCEPTED PER NAME/EMAIL, the jotform shouldn’t let you take it more than once anyways ;) I will do my best to post a running score list on the NE website so make sure to check it daily! This will be good practice for the pick em contest next week! Pick 'em contest and NE athlete watch cards Beginning Saturday June 15th, NE swimming will be hosting a pick em contest for each night of finals. We will also be posting days and times you can watch our NE athletes swim their events in Indy!
- Each morning after Trials prelims, a new jotform will be released related to that evenings finals (NOT semi-final events).
- Like Trivia, this will also be released on the NE website under the Olympic Trials drop-down menu.
- On the jotform, you will have the option to choose which two athletes (6 in the relay events) you think will make the Olympic Team that evening in order of finish (1-2 or 1-6).
