Blue & White Meet I would like to thank all of our parent and senior swimmer volunteers who helped make this meet possible! Last Thursday, EST hosted an inter-squad meet to help our new swimmers see how a meet operates and get a feel for the atmosphere at a swim meet. Results are included below, the number to the far right represents time dropped or added as compared...

Hey all! It was a crazy first day. Whatever our expectations were coming in- they were FAR exceeded. I posted pictures on Facebook (Friend me: Greg Gillette) and they don't come close to doing it justice. The competition pool is AMAZING- hopefully, everyone at EST will swim in it as it is coming to New England after trials (our friends at Charles River Dragons purchased it). The water is almost glowing it's so clear. And the temperature is perfect. The girls didn't want to get out after warmups. The warmup...

One one-hundreth of a second. That’s what won the meet for us. ONE ONE-HUNDRETH OF A SECOND! That’s the smallest margin there is in swimming. Reading the summary from yesterday you may come away thinking that the 15-19 age groups pulled us through. That they were the "heroes" that saved the day because of relay margins averaging half a second. (This is 50 times larger than one one-hundedth.) There were many heroes this past weekend. I wanted to mention one in particular to make a point. We had a 13-14...

WOW! For all those in attendance at the State Meet, especially during the final session of 15-19's on Sunday afternoon, you witnessed one of the most exciting competitions in 30 years of NH Swimming. This meet was one of the fastest in history with 12 new State Records being set during the first 12 events on Friday night. (EST set 4 of them…. and 9 over the full meet.) We were in third place at the end of Friday night (session 1)….. in second place at the end of session...
