Friday finals kicked off with the 100 Breast where Patrick Carignan placed 8th and earned his first sectional cut (1:01.96), Sam Hodgman placed 16th (1:02.59) and Sophie Kenney placed 17th (1:09.73). Friday prelims started off with the 200 Medley relay where our 13-14 girls (Hannah Deschenes, Tessa Oakes, Kayla Metivier & Margee Kolozsvary) placed 19th in 2:03.60. The 13 & Over Championships started tonight at MIT in Cambridge, Mass. In the 13-14 Age Group, the 800 free relay team of Hannah Deschenes, Megan Mundy, Kayla Metivier and Tessa Oakes posted an 8:43.11 and placed 16th. Hello EST swimmers and Parents, I hope everyone has recovered from a long but successful Regional weekend. This year EST had a strong presence at the meet with 107 swimmers attending. Out of our 107 swimmers we had 355 personal bests, 18 individual event champions and 19 new Age group cuts! Watching the swims this weekend it was easy to tell that the time spent on diving and streamlining is paying off.
