Greetings, Dolphins Families: The last few weeks have continued to be eventful and successful for MYM, with a total of 16 swimmers competing in both the 12 and under and then the 13 and over NJ YMCA State Championships, first at OCY’s pool in Toms River and then at the beautiful Kunkel Aquatic Center at Franklin & Marshall College. Dear Team, This past Saturday, 28 Dolphins aged 6 through 8 from the Mini Dolphins, Flippers, and Novice 2 groups competed at the NJ YMCA 8 and Under Championships at the Jersey Aquatic Center. This meet included the top competitors from all (or nearly all) of the YMCA teams in the state, or 23 in total. Dear Team, A huge congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed this past weekend at the Bronze Championships! I thought it was an incredible weekend for our athletes from all of our age groups on many levels.
