Dear North Coast Aquatic Team Members,

 

We are writing to share an important and necessary change regarding our pool locations.

 

The NCAT Broadview Heights location will officially be closing on December 31st, 2025. This closure affects all members currently utilizing the Broadview Heights facility, including those from both the Solon site and the Brecksville Broadview Heights (BBH) site.

 

In response to this change, we are pleased to announce that we are able to open up a limited number of spots at our Shaker site, effective January 1st, 2026, for members who are being displaced. These spots are available to Solon and BBH site members in the following practice groups:

  • Development 1: 12 spots

  • Age Group 1 & 2: 15 spots

  • Senior 1 & 2:   Open after high school season has concluded.  

We understand you will have questions regarding why this decision is being made. The Team has unfortunately incurred significant cost increases this season, which have placed us in a state of financial emergency. This situation is primarily due to the unexpected delay in the Solon High School pool opening, coupled with substantial increases in the cost of renting alternate facilities. Closing the Broadview Heights location is a difficult but essential step to ensure the long-term viability of the North Coast Aquatic Team.

 

Members will have the opportunity to sign up to move to the Shaker site on a first-come, first-served basis per practice group.  Sign-ups for the Shaker site will open on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 5pm.
