FEES AND POLICIES

All swimmers must attend PAC tryouts to complete an assessment prior to registering online and attending the first day of practice.

Attendance Policy for Practices and Meets:

Below you will find the updated PAC attendance policy for practice and swim meets.  This policy took effect on August 14, 2024.  Swimmers will not be "excused" from practice without  a doctor's note. If you have a doctor's note, please email it to your coach, AND [email protected].

Swimmers are expected to attend their groups minimum required practices.  Swimmers who do not meet their groups

minimum attendance requirements will be removed from the roster.  The attendance requirements are as follows:

Black - 3 practices (100%) fall and 4 practices (80%) summer

Jr Bronze - 3 practices (75%) fall and 4 practices (80%) summer

Jr Silver - 3 practices (75%) fall and 4 practices (80%) summer

Jr Gold - 3 practices (75%) fall and 4 practices (80%) summer

Bronze - 4 practices (80%)

Silver - 4 practices (80%)

Gold - 4 practices (100%) fall and 5 FULL practices each week Oct - July

Senior 2 - 4 FULL practices fall and 6 FULL practice for summer

Senior 1 - 5 FULL practices fall and 7 FULL practices for summer

Water Polo - 75% attendance

Water Polo players who also swim are expected to attend 3 full swim practices per week.  If Water Polo practice doesn’t interfere with swim practice, swimmers are expected to attend both practices the same day.

Swim Meets - swimmers are expected to attend ALL DAYS of each swim meet that is offered to their group. A swimmer who misses two swim meets per season will be automatically removed from the roster. Swimmers who sign up for a swim meet and do not show up, will be marked as missing the meet.

Swimming is a year-round competitive sport, and each missed practice puts the swimmer behind.  Swimmers who miss more than 14 days of practice during the summer will be removed from our roster.  If the swimmer would like to return to the swim team upon return from an extended vacation, send an email to [email protected].  If there is room in the swimmers' respective group, they will be invited to trial.  If our rosters are full, your swimmer will be put on a waiting list for try-outs.
