The mission of Prosper Aquatic Club is to develop motivated versatile swimmers, who are prepared to compete with excellent sportsmanship, self-disciplined to attain individual goals and maintain positive teamwork in a fun, safe, supportive environment while maintaining the highest standards of child protection consistent with the standards of the Prosper Independent School District, USA Swimming and the Prosper community.

MEET VOLUNTEERS

USA Swimming is a non-profit organization made up of a large number of very dedicated volunteers across the country. PAC swim meets are run 100% by volunteers, and we cannot host a meet without our PAC Family!

How to volunteer for a meet?

It’s easy! Prosper Aquatic Club website home page, log into your account and follow these instructions from Team Unify.

Volunteer Roles and Descriptions

  • Clean-up after the meet: Responsible for clean-up and putting away all equipment required to run the meet.
  • Computer Operator: Very easy job. You will only have to push a couple buttons.
  • Head Timer: Provides backup for the timers with two stop watches.
  • Hospitality: Maintain hospitality room for officials, coaches and timers. 
  • Marshal: Patrols the deck and keep kids safe.
  • Ready Bench: Line up younger kids behind their starting blocks prior to their event.
  • Runner: Collect heat sheets from timer stations after each event and take to Computer Operator.
  • Timers: Time each heat of every event per lane. Generally, 1 to 2 timers per lane.
