We want all of our ETA families safe during bad weather events.  Weather cancelations are made by the Program Head Coach. Notifications are sent out by email/SportsEngine App notification/Txt messages (to verified numbers) once the decision is made (usually about 30 mins prior to start of practice/class).  We are not able to respond in a timely manner to emails asking if practice is canceled.

Service hours are only required for families of year-round club swimmers (METRO).

All Metro families are required to complete 10 service hours per season, per family. Seasons run from August 1 to February 1 and February 1 to August 1.

Our club is run by volunteers, and to ensure the club benefits all its members, we encourage active participation by requiring 10 service hours per semester, per family. If the hours are not completed, there is a $15 charge per incomplete hour. Billing for incomplete hours occurs on February 1 and August 1.

Below is a list of volunteer opportunities, many of which are simple, weekly tasks that help keep the club in great shape for everyone:

  • Cleaning locker rooms
  • Cleaning the lobby
  • Purchasing supplies
  • Timing at meets
  • Banquet planning
  • Mowing and weed-eating
  • Taking out the trash
  • Party planning and decorating

We also hold periodic "work days" to tackle larger projects around the facility. Check out the ETA calendar and our social media pages for upcoming dates.

If you purchase items from our Amazon list, simply submit the receipt along with a service hour form, and we will credit 1 hour for every $15 spent.
