The Tyler Titans are the longest running summer swim team in Tyler. We have swimmers from every school in the greater Tyler area competing together as a fun swim team.  Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted. From there coaches will teach and develop all the competition strokes. 

Titans runs from Tuesday, May 27th – Saturday July 12th, 2025 (Champs Meet)

Meets are optional; however, swimmers MUST swim AT LEAST one of these to qualify for the Summer Champs meet at the end of the season (not including Time Trials).  

Swimmers that are not able to make the length of the pool unassisted will be moved to learn-to-swim lessons. 

If your child cannot make the length of the pool yet, we have learn-to-swim lessons in two-week classes available as an option to continue to build confidence and improve skills.  See more details about learn-to-swim below

All new 6&U registrations will be asked to complete a swim evaluation prior to the start of Titans. This will allow for better grouping of swimmers with similar abilities and assist coaches with planning. These swimmers will be contacted prior to the start of Titans once evaluation dates are set.

Titans Costs

Registration fees cover all costs for initial Titans swim caps, spirit gear, meet entries, and coaching with the exception of goggles and the optional team suit. This is a one-time registration fee to cover the entire Titans season.

All Titans swimmers are a set $200 registration fee

Titans Multi-Swimmer Discount - For each additional Titans swimmer there is a $10 discount. This discount will automatically apply to your cart at checkout when you have 2 or more Titans  registration.

CURRENT METRO MEMBERS ONLY - $100   ***If you are not a current METRO member and signup with this, you will be billed the difference before the start of Titans. This discounted sign up is only for current swimmers in Gold, Silver, Blue, White, & Red groups

Metro swimmers can sign up for Titans and continue to swim only Metro times, move to only Titans times, or swim a combination of Metro AND Titans times. Metro swimmers will be emailed before the start of Titans for their preferred times.
