We want all of our ETA families safe during bad weather events.  Weather cancelations are made by the Program Head Coach. Notifications are sent out by email/SportsEngine App notification/Txt messages (to verified numbers) once the decision is made (usually about 30 mins prior to start of practice/class).  We are not able to respond in a timely manner to emails asking if practice is canceled.

Sept Metro Meet 9/23-9/24 recap

 

We had a great meet last weekend at the Garland ISD Natatorium in Dallas with 9 Metro-Tyler swimmers attending either one or both days.

Thank you to Coach Megan and Coach Janet for attending and helping our swimmers at this meet. We couldn’t do it without you!

 

We would like to acknowledge some achievements from our swimmers in this meet

Leo Blom – Dropped time across his 3 races Saturday and earned a B Standard time

Ella Buess – Earned a B Standard time in all 4 of her races on Saturday

Evelyn Buess – Attended her first Metro meet and had 2 great swims on Saturday

Erin Dopson – Attended her first Metro meet and had 3 great swims on Saturday

Marriah Greene  - Dropped over 15sec across her weekend of races and earned 2 B Standards

Callum Gregory – Dropped over 23sec across his weekend of races

Declan Gregory – Dropped over 18sec across his weekend of races and earned 4 BB and 1 B Standard times

Paityn Gregory – Dropped over 15sec across her weekend of races and earned 4 B Standard times

Alyse Mancuso – Dropped over 10sec across her weekend of races and earned 2 B Standard times

 

Congratulations to all of our swimmers on their great efforts during this meet. The hard work at practice is being shown in your improvements. Let’s do it again in October!
