OA Alums Excel in Collegiate Swimming
Ward earns 4th place (100 Fly) at NCAA DI Meet Woodward helps earn NCAA Championship Trophy
Thirty seven OA Alums (nine seniors!) swam for 27 different collegiate swim teams during the 2013-13 season. These swimmers truly represented as they competed at their respective NCAA Championship Meets (Ward, Whyte, Woodward and Levine), swam on NCAA Championship Teams (Woodward, Freeman, Campbell and Leon), established new school records (Ward-UCSB and Hu-Tufts), earned All America and Scholastic All America Honors, earned numerous Conference Championships (Campbell/Leon - UC Berkeley, Solomon - Grinnell College, Levine - Williams College, Giambastini - University of New Hampshire, Woodward/Freeman - Emory University and Megan Howard - United States Naval Academy), served as collegiate team captains and continued to develop as athletes and as swimmers (lifetime best times). These alums continue to reflect the culture of Orinda Aquatics which promotes career longevity and a love of the sport. We couldn't be more proud of all of college alums!
