SUITS:

• FAST is a Speedo sponsored team.  We, therefore, would like all swimmers to wear Speedo suits whenever possible.

• The FAST team suit is a solid black Speedo racing suit, with or without the team logo. All team members, including those swimmers in an “Unattached” status, must wear the team suit in competition.

• The coaching staff recommends that swimmers wear a Lycra or polyester suit during the regular season competition.

• In the championship, shave and taper meets, 11 & over swimmers may wear Fastskins/Aquablades, but such suits are NOT required. The coaching staff does not recommend these suits for 10 & unders. These suits are expensive and the coaches do not believe these suits are necessary for fast swimming.  Suits do not make a swimmer.

CAPS:

• Caps are recommended for both girls and boys to wear at practice and meets.

• Swimmers must wear the FAST team cap at all swim meets (yellow cap with FAST logo printed in green on both sides)

• Swimmers will be given a black finals cap when they make their first final.

• If a swimmer wishes to purchase a “Dome cap”, they are available for purchase from the FAST office for $20.

OTHER APPAREL:

• The required swim meet uniform on deck is: team suit, team cap, team shirt (will be given to swimmers in early fall).

• The purchase of other FAST apparel is optional.

• We encourage swimmers to express team unity, team pride and team tradition by only wearing FAST apparel at swim meets, both on and off the deck.

• If your swimmer makes the podium at a finals meet, they will only be allowed to wear FAST apparel during the awards presentation.
