2024-25 Past Season and Awards
Our 2024-5 swimming results are great yet again!!
- 18 SCY & 11 LCM New Team records across groups
- USA Swimming Top 50 Team for 11-14 Age Group member retention
- ASCA Top 100 USA Age Group Team
SR Group:
- Ohio HS State Championships - Multiple Individual HS State Meet qualifiers for NAAC, we had 25 All-Ohio (Top 16) individual performances, 10 individual podium (Top 8) performances, and multiple relay All-Ohio and Podium swims from our NAAC swimmers competing for their HS Teams!
- Ohio Senior Meet Winter (Nov) Runner-up, Ohio Sr Champs (Mar) 3rd place
- 18th place overall finish at Winter NCSA Jr Nat's
- with multiple podium finishes!
- USA Winter '24 and Summer '25 Jr's finalists
- Hudson Williams qualified for USA World Jr Teaam in 400 Free relay, World Jr Champion, World Jr Record, and voted Team Captain in Aug/Sept 2023!

Season Updates
Protocols - Please review with your swimmers & we will notify of any updates as we move through the season.
Facilities – Swim & Deck equipment all cleaned, re-set and further equipment purchases plaanned
Group Meetings all in September. Full Policy, MAAPP, Code of Conduct & Medical Consent verification will be through your Group Meetings this Sept!

What We Expect From Our Team Families
Support your child’s swimming development in a positive, simple manner
Get your child to practice and meets Respect deadlines
Trust the coaches Stay off pool deck (USA rule)

Meet Update
Developmental, Important, and Critical Meets
Some meets are not intended for every swimmer – 14 & under, Qualifying Meets - Lead Coach ref.
Entries – log in to declare days or sessions & PLEASE use “Notes” – Group Meetings more details/group. Meet Invites through email, with reminders, time allowing
NO LATE ENTRIES Parents suggest events, Coaches select events
Billed through Team Unify Be on time, stay through relays
Team caps & Team swim suits Scratching an event is not permitted
Coaches at meets 24 hour no-contact rule
Tech suits only at Championship Meets (NAAC), NO 12&U tech suits allowed as of Sept 2020
3 or 4 "official" planned HOME meets for 2024/25 – Oct IMX, Dec Penguin Plune, possible Jan meet (TBD), May IMX
Meet Managers – Coffman, Bernsdorf, Volunteer Parent Managers (ex Melissa Thomas Volunteers Manager)
Possible IMX and IM Ready considerations
Chain of Communication – Parent to Lead Coach 1st, then Head Coach and/or Assistant Head Coach
Please never contact another team, team staff, coach or official about a meet
*To be eligible for RELAY swims at the JO Meet(s), a swimmer must compete at the Regional Meet unless they have 5 or more Individual Event cuts prior to the Regional Meet. Regional Meets are Championship Meets (Winter AND Summer), not just JO qualifying attempts.*
We want all of our eligible swimmers competing at their highest level meets!!
Dryland Update
AG Dryland is scheduled to begin in full Sat Sept 27, Wave Dryland Sat Nov 1. Top 2 SR groups began lifting August 2025.
Dryland in the weight room OR outdoors, dress appropriately, appropriate footwear
John C will Coach most SR Lifting & Dryland sessions, AG Dryland Coached by Gavin Lewis
Generally good athletes are more likely to become specifically great swimmers, Durability = few injuries
The higher the level of group, the more integral dryland training becomes to durability AND performance

We are a Speedo team, Team & Championship suits will be Speedo suits
