NAAC 2025-26 Group Descriptions & Breakdowns
Our NAAC 2025-26 planned practice group breakdowns follow below, and we will solidify group practice schedules and post to our Team Calendar by mid-August. As things stand now we are planning as follows and we will adjust as needed, all context considered. There is a basic group description, a general season outline, some specific practice information per group (days & times for the planned base Fall* (Sept/Oct) and Winter (late Oct-Feb) schedules), with notes on Spring 2026 planning, as well as group cost for this coming year all listed below. Fall* practices may have some slight adjustments, and this will be announced ASAP if needed. Group costs listed include the group fee, a team cap (latex), and a basic team T-shirt. USA Swimming membership fees ($86+) will be billed separately at registration again this year, along with your $100 deposit (which goes toward your total group cost) and potential non-resident fee ($60) - these are the fees billed upon your registration. We will continue to offer both a pay in full option and a monthly payment option for all groups - monthly payments not pay-as-you-go, but simple divided payments to ease any burden of total up front costs for the season.
Group fees being in Sept 2025 and can be paid in full at the start of the Sept or divided into monthly payments (Breaker, Ripple, Wave & Tsunami monthly payments split Sept-Mar; Typhoon, Bombora, Kahuna & HPG monthly payments split Sept-May).
We are planning our NEW FAMILY Meeting in early September, with full details out before the end of August. We will go over general principles, our team website, meet entries, team and meet fees, practices, procedures (both old and new), etc. All information you will need to have the coming season run smoothly for your swimmer(s)! We will also plan on holding GROUP MEETINGS in mid to late September to take questions on the season, with Group Meeting dates & times TBA. Group meetings will include any & all specific group info, general and/or new protocols, policies, procedures, our MAAPP info, and more.
We will do our best to make up missed practice times due to HS or MS meets at the pool and any unforeseen days off (bad weather, loss of electricity, etc), but we can not guarantee all groups make-up practices. As well, practices are normally canceled if a group is participating in a meet on concurrent days (Sat/Sun practice would be canceled if that group was at a Sat/Sun meet, whether your swimmer is at the meet or not) – groups with meet weekend practice adjustments are tentatively listed in the descriptions below (as some have Fri/Sat/Sun practices).
We reserve the right to adjust practice times and/or days as necessary to make programming work best for the team, with all context considered. Likewise, we will do our very best to stay as close as possible to what is listed below. The times and days listed below are the preliminary BASE Fall* & Winter practice schedules (Sept-Feb). We are planning on hosting private lessons again this season on select evenings Nov-May for the coming year, with a schedule out around the start of October. Returning College swimmers are welcome at Kahuna and/or HPG practices with prior notice, and we expect the College Spring/Summer programming to remain similar in 2025 & 2026 (this is not included below).
We are continuing our non-resident fee of $60 additional to specific group fees for all swimmers residing outside the NAPL School District.
Registration for the 2025-26 season will be open to current Team Families ONLY during our Tier One registration, June 1st-15th. We will then open Tier Two to any new NAPLSD residents on June 16th; and then open Tier Three for any interested families on June 24th... spaces permitting and evaluations completed for new NAAC swimmers, of course. All Tier registrations (1, 2 & 3) close June 30th. New Swimmer Evaluations for the 25-26 Season that occur over the summer will post as they are scheduled for June, July & August. We did fill most training groups over the last several years, so please do register ASAP once your registration Tier window opens!
Our 2025-26 SCY MEET Calendar will tentatively be posted by mid-August, with suggested meets per group, and is subject to change with consideration to any changing circumstances and with all context considered for possible 2025-26 season variability. We are tentatively planning on a similar Fall Meet Schedule with possible Jan/Feb meet adjustments.
Summer 2026 practices may be held at Denison University and/or The Links CC, and/or NAHS, and we intend on using the best combination of any of the above pools as we have over the past several years.
We are continuing our tradition of swimming excellence and successful competition at NAAC and look forward to seeing all of our returning swimmers as well as some new faces for the 2025-26 swim season!
