VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT! Everyone meet Ghladyst! Ever wonder how your meet entries make it onto a heat sheet? That’s all Ghladyst! She does all of the entry processing to make a swim meet run smoothly behind the scenes! Ghladyst loves working with all the other volunteers on our TEAM. Her favorite thing about BCST is the unity that we have as a family. Thanks for all you do for BCST, Ghladyst!

COACH SPOTLIGHT! Everyone meet Coach KB! For KB, coaching has been a part of her life all the way back in her college days at Campbell University. She actually taught swim lessons and coached while she swam competitively there. KB is passionate about technique and helping kids to learn. She loves to be able to see how coachable kids progress through that learning. She loves that BCST is a TEAM that has found the balance between being competitive and also feeling like a big extended family! Thanks for all you...

SWIMMER SPOTLIGHT! Everyone meet Heather! Heather’s been on our Team for 2 years and is in the National group. Her walk out song is All of the Lights by Kanye West. Being on BC means being part of a community bigger than herself. She looks up to her mom because she empowers Heather as a strong role model. Heather loves Abi’s passion for the sport and her commitment to making her swimmers better people. Her favorite pizza topping is pepperoni and she would love to be able to read minds!

SWIMMER SPOTLIGHT! Everyone meet Ellen! She’s been on our Team for a year and is in the Performance group. Ellen’s walk out song is One Dance by Drake. She loves BCST for the connectedness and family space. Her sister is her role model because she can learn from her. Ellen loves Coach Pedro because of how he pushes her in a positive way and is understanding. Her favorite pizza topping is pepperoni.
