Help Us Renew Our USA Swimming Safe Sport Certification

The safety of our athletes is always our top priority. We are proud to share that our team has been recognized as a USA Swimming Safe Sport Recognized Club since May 2024. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment for all swimmers. Our current certification is valid through May 2026.

As we prepare for recertification, we need your help. USA Swimming requires both parents and athletes to complete the appropriate Safe Sport courses through the USA Swimming website. Steps to complete this can be found HERE.

Thanks in advance for your support and helping us maintain our Safe Sport recognition!

Oregon Swimming Time Standards

The Oregon Swimming State Time Standards for the 2025–2026 season have been finalized! You can view them by clicking [HERE].

A few important notes:

  • SCY (Short Course Yards): Nearly all meets during the fall and winter are held in short course yards, so swimmers should use the SCY standards for reference.

  • SCM (Short Course Meters) meets are rare in Oregon, and LCM (Long Course Meters) standards are primarily used for spring and summer meets.

  • State qualifying times (OSI Championship times) cannot be achieved at Life Time Developmental Meets—they must be swum at USA Swimming–sanctioned competitions.

Achieving a qualifying time in the appropriate age group allows swimmers to compete in the Oregon State Championships. The championship dates for this season are as follows:

  • OSI 10 & Under Championships: February 21–22, Springfield, OR

  • OSI 11–14 Championships: March 5–8, Beaverton, OR

  • OSI Senior Championships: March 19–22, Beaverton, OR (Requires a 14-year-old state qualifying time to participate)

We strongly encourage all qualifiers to participate and hope that those who already have qualifying times have made plans to be available for their respective championship meets.
