Fundraising

RACEPAC works hard to coordinate efficient fundraisers that offer the best return on the least effort. Fundraising is a necessary component of our RACE program in order to keep it going, and prevent increasing dues. We ask that every family participate in the fundraisers to their fullest ability. ALL effort in fundraising is appreciated, big and small. It is better to have even a small contribution, than to not participate at all.

Requirement

RACE hosts an Annual Race-O-Rama, in which swimmers raise funds by collecting donations and swimming laps. Participation in this fundraiser is required, or a $50 Opt-out fee will be applied per swimmer.   

Current Fundraisers: Covers current and ongoing passive/active fundraisers.

Fundraising Structure & Protocols: RACE is operated by RAPRD. This addresses the RACE fundraising requirements.

The cost of youth sports participation is on the rise. At RAPRD we strive to be able to have affordable programs, with generous scholarship opportunities so that we can better serve families in our community and insure access to these life enriching opportunities. In order to keep the monthly dues for RACE swim team participants low enough to be a program accessible enough for many of our families RACE families have committed to fundraising efforts to supplement dues and help pay for program necessities like coach travel and housing, team supplies and training opportunities. Thank you for considering helping support our team and our young athletes in this amazing sport that provides lifelong health and enjoyment opportunities.
