Hi Sharks,

May begins in just a few days…which means our 2025 summer swim season is almost here!

Please be on the lookout for weekly emails of important updates starting up again. Here are today’s newsworthy items:

Volunteer sign ups are open! Sign up soon to choose your family’s preferred season-long volunteer role and check out the new webpage of job descriptions for more details. If you are interested in joining the Board, three positions' terms are ending after this season: Team Rep, VP of Operations, and Treasurer. Secure your spot to shadow any of these roles throughout the season ASAP!

Meets are now posted! Declare your swimmer(s) for any of the 9 regular season meets in which they are available to swim AND sign up for a volunteer role at each meet. Learn more about the jobs required to run each meet on the new webpage. Heather Palazzo (this season's Volunteer Coordinator!), Gina and I are happy to approve service hours for teens who volunteer with set up/break down or as a Clerk of Course or Timer at a meet.

Registration closes in three and a half weeks on May 22. We are excited to see so many returning Sharks and are pleased to welcome several new families who have already signed up! Please be sure to register your swimmer(s) as soon as possible. Reminder...The Hampton Chase pool is now open for anyone to join. There are no restrictions anymore. So please spread the word to your friends and family. To join the swim team, you need to be in good standing with HCRA.

Join us on May 15 at 6 pm at the Hampton Chase Clubhouse. We will host our annual parent meeting and swimsuit sizing kits will also be available for fittings. Swimsuit orders will be due by June 1. Make sure to check out our new Team Store and order your spiritwear by June 4!
